White cement

The difference between putty and white cement
1. White cement is mainly composed of minerals such as calcium carbonate. Calcium carbonate is an alkaline salt that neutralizes when exposed to acid. Over time, it weakens. White cement itself becomes very hard after air drying, and when the hardness reaches a certain level, it will crack itself, which is why many walls crack.
2. Putty itself also contains white cement, but it not only contains white cement, but also polymers such as acrylic acid emulsion. Nowadays, most high-rise buildings must use putty because its cost is similar to that of white cement and adhesive, but its quality is vastly different. From alkali resistance to crack resistance to acid resistance, etc., it is significantly superior to white cement!
